About the Role

We now have an excellent opportunity for you to join the movement and help us make a difference as our Volunteering Diversity and Inclusion Development Officer!

Supporting us to improve accessibility, inclusion and diversity across Sustrans volunteering, you will play a key part in our five year volunteering strategy.

As part of this varied role, you will review and make improvements to processes, systems and guidance for both volunteers and Sustrans colleagues, providing advice and support where needed.

About You

We believe in working collaboratively, so are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to work flexibly as part of a team.

You will be someone with experience and understanding of volunteering and volunteer management.

If this is you and you also have experience of implementing changes to improve equality, diversity and inclusion across a programme of work we would love to hear from you!

Equality, diversity and inclusion

Sustrans is committed to reducing inequality, valuing diversity and enabling inclusion. We have a dedicated programme working across the organisation to ensure we do this quickly and with excellence.

We actively encourage applications from people from all parts of the community, particularly where we are under-represented. Currently, this includes people who identify as having a disability, and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. Sustrans is open to adapting to your needs.
