Do you love being outdoors whatever the weather? Are you experienced in practical conservation work and UK habitat management? Do you have experience of leading others, including volunteers?
We are looking for a Reserves Officer to carry out practical habitat management across our nature reserves, contribute to site management plans, lead volunteer tasks, survey trees and infrastructure and help manage livestock. They will raise the profile of the Wildlife Trust through guided walks and events.
Applicants should have a qualification in biological / environmental science or countryside management and an understanding of wildlife and nature conservation. We are looking for someone with excellent practical habitat management experience, as well as experience of working with volunteers.
Experience of tree safety management and working with livestock would be advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for what we do.
The deadline for applications is Monday 7 June.
Interviews will be held via Zoom on Friday 18 June. We will invite those candidates that performed best to visit one of our nature reserves with us on Wednesday 30 June.
