We have a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work with local authorities and deliver a small grants programme across the South West Energy Hub area.

The Project Officer will develop and deliver a small grants programme for Local Authorities in the South West Energy Hub area. This programme complements the larger Housing Retrofit programme of work, delivering energy efficiency measures to the lowest income householders in the worst performing properties in the region.

This new role will support the wider aims of the Hub in building capacity within local authorities to benefit from future retrofit focused funding. The post holder will co-ordinate the application and assessment process of the Energy Hub’s housing retrofit small grants programme, alongside the associated governance, communication and reporting requirements. The post holder will help the Hub develop its relationships with housing energy leads across the hub area local authorities.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering small scale projects, managing relationships, keeping an accurate record of funding allocations and tracking outcomes.

This role is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2022, with the potential to be extended subject to additional funding. Secondments from other organisations will be considered.
