Maternity Cover, full time post – 37 hours per week

Salary Band: £25,220 – £28,372 depending on experience

Location: Bristol and West of England

Do you have a passion for connecting people with wildlife and inspiring action for nature at a local level? We are looking for a highly-motivated, hard-working, People & Wildlife Manager to lead a small team to cover maternity leave.

You will be developing and managing the delivery of a variety of community projects and corporate engagement activities working to achieve the Trust’s objectives by improving wildlife habitats, connecting people with nature, broadening our reach and raising our profile. Responsible for the oversight of volunteering across the Trust, you will also ensure the right processes are in place to provide a high-quality, inclusive volunteering experience.

We are looking for someone with a track record in developing and managing large-scale community engagement programmes, with experience of overseeing an extensive volunteer programme. You will have a good understanding of nature conservation principles and practice. Flexibility and adaptability are key as we work to establish plans to deliver the Trust’s priorities in our new 10-year strategy.
