About the Role
Sustrans and its sister Charity, Railway Paths Limited, own land in the North East on which the National Cycle Network and other cycling and walking routes run.
We are now looking for somebody to maintain the general condition of the routes by carrying out regular safety checks or inspections and report issues.
You will also have the opportunity to liaise with path users, volunteers, neighbours and local authority officers as well as periodically participating in volunteer events and undertaking occasional route construction activities.
We believe in working collaboratively, so are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
You will have experience in a similar role working in a land maintenance team with powered mowers and brushcutters.
So, if this sounds like you and you’re passionate about the promotion of Sustainable Transport, apply today!
Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on 28 May 2021. Interviews will take place via MS Teams during week commencing 07 June 2021.
Should Sustrans receive an overwhelming number of applications for this vacancy, the decision may be taken to close it earlier than the advertised closing date, so please ensure your application is submitted as soon as possible.
