The scale of the challenge facing nature requires game changing programmes. These need to deliver transformative change at scale and need to contribute to the triple challenge of restoring nature, tackling dangerous climate change and supporting sustainable development. To tackle these issues, we are building a new team to deliver an exciting novel corporate partnership and associated global programme.
This exciting new launch has created a unique opportunity for an expert in knowledge management in the nature-based solutions (NBS), conservation, environmental or development sectors to join us as Knowledge & Learning Manager.
As Knowledge & Learning Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring effective knowledge management and learning across the programme, with a particular focus on Nature Based Solutions (NBS) as part of an ambitious new NBS Accelerator established under the partnership. We will look to you to develop knowledge mapping and a stakeholder map and engagement strategy as well as design and facilitate a programme of learning across an international portfolio of NBS projects. You will also write and commission knowledge products to share learning at key events and international conferences in line with our ambitions to drive a step-change in the understanding and acceptance of NBS worldwide. Important, will be the ability to work with stakeholders to summarise lessons learnt into compelling reports, practice notes, primers and papers.
You must have knowledge and an understanding of Nature Based Solutions / conservation / international development / climate change adaptation initiatives and been involved designing and implementing multi-stakeholder projects. Expert at providing training and facilitating peer learning, you will be used to producing grey and/or academic literature and managing report production and dissemination too.
A confident communicator, you will also be good at prioritising your workload and building strong external relationships.
If you have the talent to ensure the NBS Accelerator meets its aims, we would love to hear from. Please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up-to-date CV with the Supporting Statement highlighting what makes you a good fit for us.
