We are seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Partnerships lead to develop and implement Plantlife’s Corporate Fundraising strategy, maximising income from existing and new corporate partners and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with some of the leading companies in the UK. You will have a strong understanding of effective corporate fundraising techniques, the motivations for corporate involvement in charity partnerships, and experience of achieving financial targets. As part of this role, and working with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will manage Plantlife’s Development team of three who specialise in grants, trusts and foundations, donors and legacies, whilst your personal focus remains on corporate partnerships. To this end, a knowledge of the full fundraising landscape will be important, as will a highly professional and creative approach, and excellent communication skills alongside the ability to prioritise tasks and work calmly under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. An understanding of, and interest in, Plantlife International’s environmental conservation and campaigning work would be an advantage.

Plantlife is the leading charity working to protect wildflowers, plants and fungi; from the open spaces of our nature reserves to the corridors of government, for the well-being of people and the future of our environment. This is an exciting time in Plantlife’s history with a new CEO and strategy to build on our conservation and campaigning work, involving more people, and raising awareness of our vision. Plantlife’s Development team of 4 is responsible for developing relationships and fundraising from corporates, grants, trusts and foundations, donors and legacies, whilst our supporters’ team looks after our members and appeals.
