Do you enjoy being outdoors and meeting like-minded people? Do you want to use your practical skills to help us maintain and improve our nature reserves?

We are looking for an Assistant Reserves Officer to carry out practical habitat management across our nature reserves, lead volunteer tasks, survey trees and infrastructure and help to look after livestock. They will raise the profile of the Wildlife Trust through guided walks and events.

Applicants should have a qualification in biological / environmental science or countryside management and an understanding of wildlife and nature conservation. We are looking for someone with good practical habitat management experience, as well as experience of working with volunteers.

Experience of tree safety management and working with livestock would be advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for what we do.

The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 7 June.
Interviews will take place via Zoom on Tuesday 15 June.
