About the Role

Your role as an Active Travel Officer will help us to promote cycling as a form of active and sustainable travel to children, parents and staff at selected secondary schools within East Sussex.

Developing an understanding of the diverse range of young people within the project areas, you will engage school communities in fun, informative activities, sharing resources and working with them to create a healthy, independent journey to school.

About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of working with children and young people, delivering behaviour change projects and partnership working within a community based or environmental project.

So if you have the ability to enthuse and motivate others and are committed to the promotion of sustainable transport, this could be the role for you!

Clearance by the appropriate enhanced DBS Disclosure check is mandatory for this role.
